What happened
Air France opened a lounge of nearly 500 square meters in the Schengen zone of Frankfurt Airport Terminal 3 on September 1, 2026. It is the first lounge on the Schengen side of the new terminal. Global Lounge Network runs the space, which seats close to 120 guests and is open daily from 5AM to 9:30PM.
A dining area centered on French cuisine seats up to 50 people. Flying Blue Ultimate members have a separate zone with cocoon-style seating. The lounge replaces Air France's closed Terminal 2 facility. The space is bright and spacious, with runway views.
SkyTeam business-class passengers and Elite Plus members have access under standard SkyTeam lounge rules. Air France and KLM business-class travellers are covered. Use the lounge on those credentials and skip any plan that relies on Priority Pass.
