Air France Faces Criticism for Inadequate Forced Overnight Accommodation Handling at CDG

A Flying Blue Platinum member reports Air France provided incorrect hotel voucher instructions and shuttle guidance after a missed connection at CDG, leading to significant delays and substandard meals

What happened

A reader shares a detailed complaint about an Air France experience following a flight delay on AF1775 (OSL–CDG) that caused a missed connection to GVA. As the final flight of the day, the passenger was issued a hotel voucher for B&B Grand Roissy Aéroport. The passenger reports that the voucher contained incorrect instructions, directing them to Level 5 of Gare TGV. Upon arrival, the shuttle driver indicated it served a different hotel. After being misdirected again by SkyPriority staff at Terminal 2F, the passenger had to contact the hotel directly to get accurate instructions (CDGVal to Roissypole). The passenger, a Business Class ticket holder and Platinum member, also criticized the assigned hotel's accessibility and the 'dinner' allowance of water, soft drinks, and instant noodles. Air France initially denied compensation requests, though the passenger filed a separate EC261/2004 claim with a third-party service
