What happened
From September 1, 2026, Platinum, Corporate Platinum and Titanium Aeromexico Rewards members lose Premier Lounge access on purely domestic itineraries, and so do passengers flying domestic Premier Class. International itineraries on the same reservation still qualify. Entry remains available with an Aeromexico co-branded card or a one-day pass.
Companion allowances are unchanged, and children aged 2 to 17 count against the level's companion limit. International Premier Class does not change, and elites keep lounge access on international trips and SkyTeam lounge access abroad. SkyTeam's site now ties Elite Plus access at Aeromexico lounges in Mexico City (MEX) to a same-day international SkyTeam flight, which LoyaltyLobby is trying to reconcile with earlier alliance guidance.
Use a co-branded card or a day pass for domestic Aeromexico lounge visits from September 1, 2026, and watch for Elite Plus clarification at MEX.
