What happened
Members whose Qatar Airways Privilege Club status dropped between 1 March and 18 December 2026 can regain that tier by booking a flight marketed and operated by Qatar Airways that starts in Doha from 11 October through 18 December 2026. Travel has to happen after the downgrade takes effect and by 1 April 2027.
The prior status returns once the eligible flight posts to the account. The membership number must be on the booking before travel. Tickets bought before 11 October 2026 do not count, even if reissued during the window.
The reinstatement restores lounge access and oneworld status without earning the usual retention Qpoints. Members who contact Qatar Airways should quote reference 2610PC080.
