Qatar Airways Launching Bogota & Caracas Flights As Of July 2026

Qatar Airways will launch service to Bogota, Colombia (BOG) and Caracas, Venezuela (CCS) starting July 22, 2026. The route operates twice weekly (Wednesdays and Sundays) using a Boeing 777-200LR. The flight path goes from Doha (DOH) to Bogota, then via Caracas on the return to Doha. This stop in Caracas is necessary because Bogota's high altitude restricts payload for a nonstop flight to Doha. The route adds two new destinations to Qatar's Americas network, joining Sao Paulo. This provides an alternative for travelers avoiding US transit visas
