What happened
Qatar Airways has reached a major milestone in its inflight connectivity upgrade, completing the installation of Starlink Wi-Fi across its entire Boeing 777, Airbus A350, and Boeing 787-8 fleets. The airline is now installing the service on its 27 Boeing 787-9 aircraft, with the first unit already equipped and the full fleet expected to be completed by the end of 2026. The service is offered complimentary to passengers with one-click access and speeds up to 500 Mbps. Notably, Qatar Airways allows voice and video calls over the Wi-Fi connection. The rollout leaves only the Airbus A330 and A380 fleets to potentially receive the upgrade, depending on retirement plans and installation feasibility
