What happened
Qantas is taking 20% to 30% off economy Classic Flight Rewards across Australian domestic routes for travel from 1 November 2026 to 27 September 2027. Sale awards are bookable until 16 October. The cut depends on the travel date.
Melbourne-Sydney economy Classic Rewards are 7,300 points plus $61 at 20% off and 6,400 points plus $61 at 30% off, from 9,200 points. Perth-Sydney is 16,500 points plus $78 at 20% off and 14,400 points plus $78 at 30% off, from 20,700 points. The discount applies only to economy Classic Flight Rewards.
The 30% rate applies outside the late 2026 to early 2027 peak and the March to April peak.
Book Classic Reward space for those dates before 16 October.
