Marriott pays 2,000 bonus points a night on Homes & Villas to Oct 1

What happened

Marriott Bonvoy is paying registered members 2,000 bonus points a night, up to 10,000 per stay, on Homes & Villas bookings of 2 or more nights with at least $1,500 in qualifying charges. Bookings must be made on the Homes & Villas site from August 21 through October 1, 2026, and eligible nights must be completed from August 21 through December 31, 2026.

Registration is required by October 1, 2026. Nights must be consecutive at the same property. The $1,500 minimum counts qualifying charges only. Award stays and third-party bookings do not qualify. Hotels and branded residences are excluded. Choosing airline miles instead of Bonvoy points forfeits the bonus, as does a cancellation or no-show. The extra points stack on base and elite earnings and should post within 72 hours after checkout if the membership number is on the reservation.

The extra 2,000 points a night is modest against a $1,500 spend, so it is a small extra on a Homes & Villas stay already planned rather than a reason to book. Register by October 1, 2026 only if a qualifying stay of at least 2 nights and $1,500 is already on the calendar.
