JetBlue announced the rollout of 'Blue First,' a new domestic first-class product, on all aircraft in its fleet that do not currently feature the premium Mint cabin. The widespread rollout is expected to begin in October 2026, with approximately 20 planes reconfigured per month. The project is slated for completion by late 2027. The new cabin will utilize Collins Aerospace MiQ seats, similar to those found in American Airlines' domestic first class. JetBlue plans to install three to four rows of first class on its A220s and A320s (estimated at 12 seats) and A321s (estimated at 16 seats). To accommodate this, the airline will reduce economy seat pitch from 32 inches to 30 inches, while EvenMore Economy will see a slight reduction to 35 inches. The new first-class product will offer 36-37 inches of pitch. Reconfiguration will begin with the oldest A320s. JetBlue expects overall aircraft capacity to remain roughly the same despite the addition of the new cabin
