What happened
Hilton Honors introduced the Diamond Reserve tier (80 nights/40 stays + $18,000 spend) with access to 'premium' lounges. Standard Diamond members retain access to 'Executive Lounges' but are excluded from 'Club' accommodation types. Hilton Cleveland Downtown is leveraging this by labeling its lounge 'The Club at Hilton,' thereby denying access to standard Diamond members while allowing Diamond Reserve members. This follows Hilton Honors terms which exclude 'Club' types from standard elite access, a precedent set by Conrad and Signia properties
