Two Bangkok Hilton hotels leave the system on November 6, 2026

What happened

Hilton has posted exit notices for Hilton Bangkok Sukhumvit 24 and the adjoining DoubleTree Bangkok Sukhumvit 26, which leave the Hilton system on November 6, 2026. The two hotels opened in 2013. Brand deals of this kind are usually signed for more than 13 years, and a dispute with Hilton is suspected.

The hotels sit on a shared courtyard, which made it easy to split a stay between them. AWC also operates or is developing hotels outside Hilton, so a new flag is expected but has not been named.

Once the hotels leave Hilton, guests may not earn points or elite-qualifying nights, and elite benefits on bookings made under the old brand may not be honored. That leaves Hilton Honors members without two connected Bangkok hotels for earning and recognition.

Do not count on Hilton elite benefits or earning at these hotels after November 6, 2026, and wait for the next brand before booking a later stay.
