What happened
American Airlines is selling one-way Main Cabin awards between the contiguous 48 U.S. states and Sydney for 25,000 AAdvantage miles through October 31, 2026. Bookings close at 11:59 p.m. Central Time that day, and travel must be completed by then as well.
Only flights marketed and operated by American Airlines or American Eagle qualify. Codeshare flights do not. It cannot be combined with other offers or added to tickets already purchased. Award inventory at 25,000 miles is not guaranteed. Taxes and fees still apply, and American Airlines may change or end the offer without notice.
The 25,000-mile one-way sits under many east-coast-to-Europe economy awards. A family of four could fly round-trip for 200,000 miles if space remains. Search American Airlines for Main Cabin award seats to or from Sydney and book only if the flight can be completed by October 31.
