What happened
From 1 September 2026, Finnair Plus Gold and Platinum members will get free inflight Wi-Fi across the Airbus fleet, matching a perk Platinum Lumo already had.
The Finnair Plus number must be on the booking. Members connect via the Nordic Sky Portal or the Finnair app. European A319 to A321 flights allow streaming from takeoff to landing. Long-haul A330 and A350 flights to Asia and North America limit the free connection to email and light browsing after takeoff, with no streaming. Power banks are not allowed onboard. Charge devices before boarding. Long-haul seats have in-seat power.
Wi-Fi already purchased for a now-covered flight will be refunded to the original payment method. Refunds are automatic but processed manually and may take time.
Add the Finnair Plus number to bookings from 1 September 2026 and wait for a refund if Wi-Fi was already paid on a flight this perk now covers.
