Edelweiss will retrofit six A350s with 1-2-1 business from June 2027

What happened

Edelweiss is replacing inherited LATAM interiors on six A350-900s, cutting each jet from 339 seats to 319. The first aircraft is due in service in early June 2027 and those flights are already on sale. The rest of the fleet is expected to carry the new cabin by early October 2027.

Business class moves to a 1-2-1 layout with aisle access at every seat and grows from 30 seats to 32. Only the first row is sold as Edelweiss Business Suite with privacy doors. Those seats get 32-inch screens and a larger footwell. Regular business seats appear to lack doors. A new 28-seat premium-economy cabin sits 2-3-2 in hard-shell seats. Economy stays 3-3-3 at 259 seats, with slightly more legroom and recline.

The cabin adds free Starlink Wi-Fi and 4K screens with Bluetooth audio. Premium cabins get wireless charging, and USB-A and USB-C ports supply 60 watts throughout. The original plan to finish the first aircraft before the end of 2026 slipped. Completing six jets by early October during peak summer is an aggressive timeline.

Look at bookable Edelweiss A350 flights from early June 2027, including Kilimanjaro and Halifax, if the new cabin is the point.
