What happened
Air Canada opened Embarq on October 8, 2026, a free portal for Canadian small businesses and non-profits that credits 50% more Aeroplan points on eligible work trips through December 10, 2026. The firm can also cut eligible fares by as much as 5%.
A Primary Corporate Travel Manager signs up with an Aeroplan number and can add staff. Employees buy tickets on aircanada.com in their own accounts and must choose Business Travel. The extra 0.5x sits on base earnings only, lifting a $600 trip from 600 points to 900. Elite rates are not multiplied, and the bonus does not count toward status.
An existing Air Canada corporate contract blocks enrolment. Travel agencies are barred, and agency-ticketed trips get none of the benefits. Economy Basic does not qualify. Flight Passes sit outside the offer. Group bookings do not qualify either. Long-haul trips between the United States and Europe miss out. US itineraries that involve the Middle East or India are also ineligible, and so are those to Africa.
Enrol while the 50% bonus is confirmed through December 10, 2026, if the firm is a qualifying Canadian small business or non-profit that flies Air Canada.
