Chase Sapphire Preferred Earns 3x Points on Airbnb, Effective June 15

Chase has updated the Chase Sapphire Preferred Card to earn 3 points per dollar spent on eligible vacation home rentals booked through Airbnb, Vrbo, Plum Guide, and HomeAway. This change is effective as of June 15, 2026. Previously, these purchases earned 2 points per dollar under the general travel category. The update makes the card more competitive for frequent Airbnb users compared to other travel cards like the Capital One Venture X
