What happened
Chase is switching a $10 DoorDash non-restaurant checkout credit from once a quarter to once a month on several Freedom and Slate cards plus some co-brands, for cardholders who first activate DashPass from September 1, 2026 through December 31, 2027.
The monthly cadence is tied to the date a free DashPass membership is first turned on, not to the card. A first activation from February 1, 2025 through August 31, 2026 still yields $10 off one qualifying non-restaurant order each calendar quarter. The discount applies at DoorDash checkout on only one order and continues only while DashPass enrollment remains active.
Keep DashPass inactive until September 1, 2026 on any eligible card that has never had it, or the $10 credit remains quarterly.
