Chase Sapphire Preferred Transfer Ratio to Hyatt Drops to 4:3

Chase announced that the transfer ratio from the Chase Sapphire Preferred Card to World of Hyatt will drop from 1:1 to 4:3. This change applies to the Ink Business Preferred as well. For new Sapphire Preferred cardholders, the new ratio takes effect on June 15, 2026. For existing cardholders, it takes effect on October 1, 2026. The Chase Sapphire Reserve and Sapphire Reserve for Business will continue to offer 1:1 transfers to Hyatt. This change affects the value proposition for cardholders who frequently transfer points to Hyatt, as they will receive fewer Hyatt points per Chase point transferred from the Preferred tier
