What happened
Qatar Airways Privilege Club is paying a 15%, 25% or 35% bonus on conversions into Avios from participating partners from 1 to 31 October 2026, with the rate set by the size of a single transaction.
Up to 49,999 Avios in one conversion earns 15%. A conversion of 50,000 to 99,999 Avios earns 25%. Converting 100,000 or more earns 35%. Smaller transfers do not stack into a higher tier, and conversions after 31 October 2026 get nothing retroactively. Bonus Avios credit by 30 November 2026 based on the conversion date the partner reports. The conversion cannot be reversed once Avios post.
Hotel programs such as World of Hyatt and IHG are eligible, as is Citibank in the US. Each partner's conversion ratio still applies. Hotel-point conversions stay poor value even with the bonus, and Accor points convert more efficiently to Iberia than directly to Qatar. Those Avios can later move to other Avios programs after accounts are linked.
Convert only currencies already destined for Avios, and do it in one transfer if the 50,000 or 100,000 Avios tiers are reachable before 31 October 2026.
