Capital One Miles Transfer Bonus to Japan Airlines Mileage Bank: 30% Bonus Through April 30

Capital One is offering a 30% bonus on transfers of Capital One Miles to Japan Airlines Mileage Bank. The promotion runs from April 1 through April 30, 2026. Normally, Capital One miles transfer to JAL at a 4:3 ratio (1,000 Capital One miles = 750 JAL miles). With the 30% bonus, the effective ratio becomes approximately 1,000:975, which is close to 1:1. This is significant because Capital One is currently the only major US bank transferable points currency to partner with Japan Airlines Mileage Bank. While Bilt Rewards also partners with JAL, it offers a standard 1:1 ratio without needing a bonus. The bonus makes the Capital One transfer more competitive for accessing JAL's award chart, which includes lucrative rates for oneworld partners and select non-oneworld airlines like Emirates and Air France.
