What happened
Bank of America has restored an 80,000-point welcome bonus on the Alaska Airlines Atmos Rewards Ascent card after $5,000 in purchases within 90 days. Doctor of Credit reports the new bonus is slightly weaker than a recent 85,000-point offer.
The $95 annual fee is not waived. The personal card is not available to anyone who currently holds it or held it in the preceding 24 months. That lookback does not apply to the business product. A friend referral yields the same 80,000-point bonus and pays the referrer 10,000 points.
Apply when $5,000 in 90 days is realistic and the personal card was not held in the past 24 months.
