What happened
The Andaz Turks & Caicos at Grace Bay has begun accepting reservations for stays starting June 1, 2027, marking Hyatt's first hotel in the Turks & Caicos islands and the first Andaz property in the Caribbean. The 5.5-acre resort features 59 rooms and 74 branded residences, along with three restaurants, a spa, and a kids club. As a Category 8 World of Hyatt property, standard room redemptions cost 35,000-75,000 points per night. Cash rates start around $1,300 per night before taxes. The opening was originally slated for 2021 but has been delayed by six years
