What happened

American Express has officially confirmed plans for a new Centurion Lounge at Boston Logan Airport (BOS). The lounge will be located in Terminal C near gate C10 and will span approximately 20,000 square feet across two stories. While initial plans in early 2025 targeted a 2027 opening, the timeline has slipped, with the earliest expected opening now in 2029. Amex will cover the interior build-out costs, while the airport handles the shell. The design features a 'green roof' with a rooftop bar and patio. This is one of two new US Centurion Lounges in development, alongside one at Newark (EWR) expected to open sooner. The lounge will be accessible to holders of the Platinum Card and Business Platinum Card from American Express
