What happened
American Airlines announced plans to open a new grab-and-go lounge concept, Provisions by Admirals Club, at its New York JFK Terminal 8 hub by the end of 2026. Located near Gate 12, the 3,700-square-foot facility will accommodate up to 40 guests and offer hot/cold meals, sandwiches, salads, and a full-service Lavazza coffee bar. It will also feature customer service representatives. Access will be available to Admirals Club members, including those with access via premium credit cards like the Citi / AAdvantage Executive World Elite Mastercard. However, using a lounge visit pass for this quick-service location will count toward the cardholder's annual allotment of four trips, which may be a consideration for those near the end of the year
