What happened
Air Canada is paying a 15% bonus on Marriott Bonvoy conversions into Aeroplan from October 1 through October 31, 2026, Eastern time. The 3:1 rate is unchanged, and Marriott still adds 5,000 Aeroplan points on every 60,000 Bonvoy transferred in one move. No registration is required.
Eligible Aeroplan members in good standing convert on Marriott's airline-partner site or by calling 1-800-450-4442, with identical names on both accounts. Each conversion needs at least 3,000 Bonvoy points, with a 240,000-point daily cap. Hilton Honors conversions are excluded. Transfers from Aeroplan's other hotel partners do not qualify. Some members may not see the offer in their Aeroplan account even though the terms do not call it targeted.
Official terms apply the 15% only to the 3:1 portion and add 1,500 Aeroplan points on a 30,000 Bonvoy conversion. Reports put a 60,000 Bonvoy transfer at 28,750 Aeroplan after the bonuses stack. The extra Aeroplan points can take 8-10 weeks after October 31 to credit.
Convert only for an Aeroplan award already planned, preferably in 60,000-point transfers by October 31, 2026 that can wait weeks for the bonus to post.
