Aer Lingus to End Nonstop Service to Denver, Las Vegas, and Minneapolis; Cuts Seattle Seasonally

Aer Lingus is suspending nonstop flights from Denver, Las Vegas, and Minneapolis to Dublin later this year, while Seattle service will become seasonal. The cuts are part of a cost-cutting effort involving 500 job losses

What happened

  • Denver (DEN): Service ends after Sept. 28, 2026.
  • Minneapolis (MSP): Service ends after Oct. 24, 2026.
  • Las Vegas (LAS): Service ends after Dec. 3, 2026.
  • Seattle (SEA): Service ends after Oct. 24, 2026, but is expected to return for the summer 2027 season. Denver and Las Vegas will lose their only nonstop carrier to Ireland. Delta continues to serve Dublin from Minneapolis. The airline is shifting focus to smaller Airbus A321XLR jets for eastern U.S. markets. Additionally, Aer Lingus plans to debut a premium economy cabin on 10 Airbus A330s in 2027. Approximately 500 employees are expected to lose their jobs as part of this transformation

Aer Lingus announced it will suspend nonstop service from three U.S. cities to Dublin (DUB) to trim costs and boost margins amid higher fuel prices and competition. Route Cuts:
