What happened
LoyaltyLobby found no Emirates award space in any cabin on Aegean Miles+Bonus or JAL Mileage Bank when checking Dubai to Jakarta. Dubai to London Heathrow and Dubai to Bangkok were empty too. A reader looking at Aegean miles saw no Emirates award flights. Air Canada Aeroplan and Qantas Frequent Flyer still showed Emirates awards on those same dates.
Partner award space is typically the same across programs, which makes the gap notable. Aegean and Emirates began a partnership in May 2025. Earlier examples on LoyaltyLobby had Aegean and JAL often pricing Emirates flights cheaper in miles than other programs. LoyaltyLobby cannot say whether the missing inventory is intentional. The site also describes Aegean awards as carrying very high carrier and fuel surcharges.
Anyone who used Aegean or JAL for cheaper Emirates awards may need Aeroplan or Qantas instead, which LoyaltyLobby considers worse mileage rates. Book Emirates through Aeroplan or Qantas for now and check Aegean and JAL again in case the space comes back.
