Volotea to Charge Up to €9 for Fuel After Booking

Volotea has introduced a dynamic fuel pricing policy called the "Fair Travel Promise." Unlike traditional airlines that bake fuel into the base fare, Volotea will review fuel costs approximately seven days before departure. If oil prices have risen, passengers may be charged an additional fee of up to €9 per passenger, per flight. Conversely, if prices drop, passengers receive a refund. The adjustment is calculated based on a methodology published on Volotea's website.
