What happened
STARLUX launched its first COSMILE buy-miles sale on October 15, 2026, selling miles at 2.4 US cents each, 40% off the published buy rate, through November 9. COSMILE members can buy on starlux-airlines.com via Points.com.
Buys are in 1,000-mile increments, 1,000 to 150,000 miles per transaction. Each member may buy no more than 150,000 miles in a calendar year. Miles post within 72 hours. Purchases are non-refundable and cannot be combined with other Buy Miles offers. Bought miles are award mileage and do not count toward status renewal or upgrade qualification. Canadian residents are charged GST/HST/QST, and card-issuer foreign-transaction fees may apply.
Bought miles can be used for STARLUX and partner awards. Redemption value is limited unless STARLUX adds partners or joins an alliance.
