What happened
Rakuten updated its partnership terms with Bilt, specifically altering the conversion ratio for Bilt Blue (non-elite) members. Previously, these members received a 1:1 ratio where every $10 in Rakuten cash back equaled 1,000 Bilt points. The new ratio is 2:1, meaning every $10 in cash back equals only 500 Bilt points. This change applies to payouts through May 15, 2026. Elite members (Silver, Gold, Platinum) retain the 1:1 ratio. Points earned via this partnership do not count toward Bilt elite status.
