What happened
Qatar Airways is restoring flight operations following a pause due to the Iran War. Starting April 23, 2026, the airline will resume daily flights to Dubai (DXB) and Sharjah (SHJ). A daily service to Damascus (DAM) will commence on May 1, 2026. Current flight activity shows approximately 135 departing passenger flights ex-Doha on April 24, 2026, with over 150 destinations scheduled from June 16. The airline has also extended flexible rebooking and refund policies for flights until September 15, 2026, and clarified Privilege Club tier extensions for members
