What happened
Bilt members who pay rent with a U.S. Qatar Airways Privilege Club Visa Signature or Visa Infinite card now earn 3 Avios per dollar on up to $50,000 of rent per calendar year. The change took effect August 5, 2026, with a calendar year maximum of 150,000 Avios.
Both cards are issued by Cardless, which also issues the Bilt card. Miles to Memories reports a 3% fee on the rent charges. The Points Guy had not confirmed that fee at publication but expected it. Bilt already pays 2 miles per dollar on rent to United cardholders and 3 points per dollar to Alaska Atmos Rewards cardholders.
The Points Guy values Avios at 1.4 cents and puts 3 Avios per dollar at about a 4.2% return, above a 3% fee. Switch Bilt rent to an eligible Qatar Airways Visa only if those Avios are worth the 3% fee.
