What happened
- Group 1: Nationals of China (including Hong Kong and Macau).
- Group 2: Nationals of select countries who are either GCC residents or hold a valid visa for the US, Canada, Australia, the UK, Schengen Area, or Japan.
- General Requirements: Passport valid for 6+ months, onward/return ticket, confirmed hotel reservation, health insurance, and sufficient funds.
- Family: Spouses and children benefit from the facility even if not nationals of the eligible country.
- Duration: 4 days, non-extendable, non-transferable to residence visas. This policy change is relevant to frequent fliers using Oman Air (a Oneworld member) for travel to the Sultanate
