What happened
LATAM has unveiled the interiors for its upcoming Airbus A321XLRs, making it the first carrier in South America to offer fully flat suites with direct aisle access on a narrow-body aircraft. The airline has at least 13 A321XLRs on order, with deliveries expected to begin in 2027. These aircraft will be used to open new long-haul markets, likely connecting South America to North America and Europe. The A321XLRs will feature a two-cabin layout with more than 170 seats. Business class will utilize the Thompson Aero VantageSOLO product, a herringbone configuration with 12 seats in a 1-1 layout, offering direct aisle access and doors. The cabin will include seat-back entertainment, upgraded Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth audio. Economy class will feature Recaro R3 seats. This new product mirrors offerings seen on JetBlue Mint and Iberia's A321XLRs
