JetBlue confirmed it won coveted takeoff and landing rights at LaGuardia Airport (LGA) previously held by Spirit Airlines, which shut down in May 2026. This win allows JetBlue to operate up to 12 additional daily roundtrips from the airport, subject to court and regulatory approval. JetBlue has expressed interest in moving to Terminal A, the historic Marine Air Terminal, to achieve cost savings. Currently, JetBlue operates from Terminal B, which houses Amex Centurion and Chase Sapphire Lounges. The move would help JetBlue expand its presence at LGA, where it currently flies only four routes, and support its TrueBlue loyalty members in its home market
