What happened

Japan Airlines is paying 2,500 to 10,000 bonus Mileage Bank miles on each eligible U.S. to Japan segment through March 4, 2027 for members who register by December 31, 2026 and book on the Americas website. Business class pays 10,000 bonus miles per segment. Premium economy pays 5,000 and economy 2,500.

Registration must be finished before departure or the flight earns nothing extra. Tickets have to be purchased on JAL's Americas region website. Only listed JAL flight numbers on continental U.S. to Japan routes qualify, including flights to Tokyo Haneda or Narita and Los Angeles to Osaka Kansai. Japan to Hawaii flights are not eligible. The extra miles post automatically with regular flight credit and there is no stated cap.

The bonus does not count toward FLY ON Points. It also does not help JMB tier status or Life Status points. JAL may change or cancel the offer without notice. Flights already taken do not earn the extra miles.

Register by December 31, 2026 against an eligible JAL ticket booked on the Americas site for travel by March 4, 2027.
