Frontier Airlines to Roll Out Starlink Wi-Fi Starting Early 2027

Frontier Airlines has announced plans to introduce SpaceX’s Starlink Wi-Fi as of early 2027. The ultra-low-cost carrier, which currently offers no inflight connectivity, aims to be the first US airline to manage the Starlink system directly. The rollout will provide high-speed, low-latency broadband for passengers as well as connectivity for pilots, crew, and maintenance teams. While previous Starlink adopters like Copa Airlines initially offered free service, Frontier has not specified whether Starlink will be complimentary or a paid add-on, suggesting it may be bundled with fare classes or elite status.
