What happened
Finnair Plus is paying 12 Avios and tier points per euro to Basic members and 20 to Lumo members on Finnair-marketed AY flights booked on Finnair.com from 18 to 27 August 2026. That is double the usual rate, and travel must fall on destination-specific dates through 31 March 2027.
New bookings qualify on flights operated by Finnair or Norra, one-way or round-trip, in any fare brand and cabin. Paid extras bought with those flights also earn at the double rate. A Finnair Plus number has to be on the booking. Site estimates still display standard Avios rather than the doubled amount.
Each destination has its own travel dates in the fine print, even though the offer cites 18 August 2026 through 31 March 2027. Which dates actually earn the bonus is unclear. Sale pages aimed at Norway and Sweden leave out the Avios and tier-point bonus, so the extra earnings may be limited to bookings from Finland. The airline can change the offer at any time.
