What happened
Finnair Plus is selling 300,000 Avios for $4,340 from September 21 through October 5, 2026, equal to 1.45 cents each after the 50% bonus on a 200,000 Avios purchase. The euro price is 4,200 EUR. Members must have joined before September 18, 2026 and already hold at least 50 Avios.
The 50% tier starts at 100,000 Avios. Buys for yourself and as gifts share a 200,000 Avios calendar-year cap, counted before the bonus. Bonus Avios do not count against that cap. Purchases earn no Finnair tier points. Avios expire after 18 months of inactivity. Paying in yen prices Avios at 1.23 euro cents each.
Those Avios can be linked and moved to British Airways, then to Iberia or Qatar Airways. The offer may not appear for new or empty accounts.
Do not buy unless the account already qualifies and an award is ready to book; Finnair 40% discount sales have typically cost less per Avios.
