What happened
Finnair Plus is selling Avios at up to 50% off plus a 10% Tier Points bonus from November 2 to 16, 2026 for members who joined before October 30, 2026 and already hold at least 50 Avios.
The discount scales with purchase size and peaks at 50% off for 85,000 to 200,000 Avios. A 200,000 Avios purchase includes 20,000 Tier Points. The annual buy cap is reset for the campaign, so members can still purchase up to 200,000 Avios. Avios typically post in one to three days and can be moved fee-free to other Avios airline programs. Gift purchases are excluded from the discount and the bonus. Bonus Tier Points do not count as Finnair-flight points required for Platinum Lumo. Purchases are processed by points.com and do not earn airline spend bonuses.
At the 50% rate the cost is about 1.09 cents per Avios in US dollars. Japanese yen pricing rose 11.5% after the sale launched.
Buy 85,000 Avios or more by November 16 if 1.09 cents works for a planned award or Finnair status.
