Finnair Plus adds Radisson status match and Avios conversions

What happened

Finnair Plus and Radisson Rewards now convert at 3 Avios for 5 hotel points and 10 hotel points for 1 Avios, with Finnair elite tiers matching to Radisson Rewards Premium or VIP. Silver and Gold match to Premium. Platinum and Platinum Lumo match to VIP.

Accounts link on the Finnair Shop by entering both membership numbers. Names on the two accounts must match. Matched status is generally valid for 2 years. Premium then needs 5 nights or 3 stays. VIP then needs 30 nights or 20 stays within a 12-month period. Benefits can be used immediately. A Radisson stay in the Americas posts to Choice Privileges, not Radisson Rewards. Third-party hotel bookings count toward those thresholds only if the Radisson Rewards number is on the reservation.

Avios transferred into Radisson face dynamic hotel awards and make a poor redemption. Leftover Radisson points can move into Avios if the hotel balance would otherwise sit unused.

Link on the Finnair Shop for the hotel status and convert Radisson points to Avios only when those points have no hotel use.
