Cathay Pacific Unveils Redesigned The Wing First Class Lounge, Reopening April 22

Cathay Pacific has revealed the design and confirmed the reopening date for its renovated The Wing First Class Lounge at Hong Kong International Airport (HKG). The lounge will reopen on April 22, 2026, following an 11-month closure for its most significant refurbishment to date. Designed in partnership with StudioIlse, the new space blends contemporary design with residential comfort. Key features include a new 'Retreat' with seven private booths offering foot and neck massages, five multipurpose 'Alcove' booths with charging facilities, and fully enclosed workspaces in 'The Bureau'. The redesign introduces walnut wood and granite flooring but notably removes the iconic Cabanas in favor of new shower suites.
