Cathay Pacific Reopens Refurbished 'The Wing, First' Lounge in Hong Kong on April 22

Cathay Pacific is reopening its newly redesigned flagship lounge, 'The Wing, First,' located on the east side of Terminal 1 at Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA), on April 22, 2026. The lounge will initially be open only to Cathay Pacific Diamond members and First Class passengers. Emerald members from non-Cathay partners and First Class passengers flying on other airlines are requested to use 'The Pier' First class lounge, with potential later access to The Wing. The redesign, in collaboration with StudioIlse, features updated materials including walnut wood and granite flooring, new signature furniture, and an expanded Atrium. This reopening is part of a broader lounge enhancement plan that includes a new dedicated lounge in New York later this year and the renovation of 'The Wing, Business' for a 2027 reopening
