Emerald members from non-Cathay partners and First Class passengers flying on other airlines are initially requested to use The Pier First class lounge, with potential later availability in The Wing, First. The reopening is part of a broader lounge enhancement plan. The Wing, Business is scheduled to close for renovations in 2027, and a new dedicated lounge is planned for New York's Terminal 6 later this year
