SAS will open a 3,700-square-meter Copenhagen lounge in June 2027

What happened

SAS is opening a new primary lounge on the fourth floor of Terminal 3 at Copenhagen Airport in June 2027, with 1,095 seats and capacity for up to 4,000 visitors a day. The single-level space covers 3,700 square meters, around 40% larger than the existing lounge.

Planned amenities include runway views and 24 private work pods. Shower and restroom capacity will grow, and private hotel rooms are in the design, though it is not yet clear how those rooms will be offered. A dedicated Exclusive Zone is meant for SAS top-tier customers.

Standard SkyTeam lounge access is expected for SkyTeam Elite Plus members and passengers in SkyTeam business class. The lounge follows SAS's shift to SkyTeam and the restoration of European business class. There is nothing to book until access rules and the private hotel rooms are confirmed nearer the June 2027 opening.
