What happened
American Express is ending Platinum and Business Platinum access to select Lufthansa lounges in the Global Lounge Collection on October 1. Other lounges in the collection are unchanged.
Cardmembers still get Centurion Lounges and other partner lounges in the collection. Priority Pass Select remains available after enrollment. Delta Sky Club access continues on same-day Delta-operated flights, capped at 10 annual visits unless a spending requirement is met. Basic-economy tickets do not qualify.
Amex says the collection covers more than 1,550 airport lounges across 140 countries. Participating locations can be checked on the Global Lounge Collection website.
Use remaining Lufthansa access before October 1 and confirm other collection lounges for later trips.
