What happened
American Airlines will swap all-day Biscoff cookies or unbranded pretzels for Goldfish or Biscoff in the morning and Tate's cookies or Peterson's snack mix later in the day, starting in early October 2026. Complimentary snacks are served with the economy beverage service.
The airline's chief customer officer said the refresh followed customer feedback. American says the new lineup applies across economy, not only selected routes or lounges. The current all-day choice stays in place until then.
Most American economy passengers will see the snacks on regular flights. The change is a small cabin-wide perk rather than an elite-only extra.
No booking or registration is needed ahead of the early October 2026 switch.
