Air India is opening its first signature lounge outside of India, the Maharaja Lounge, at San Francisco International Airport (SFO). The lounge is located post-security in the International Terminal near the A gates, accessible via escalators up one level. Officially opening on May 23, 2026, the lounge spans approximately 3,300 square feet and is designed by Hirsch Bedner Associates. It features contemporary luxury with Indian cultural motifs, including artwork using spices and botanicals. Key amenities include a separate speakeasy-inspired cocktail space called the Aviator's Bar, dining areas, and ample power outlets. The lounge is expected to operate daily from approximately 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., with hours subject to change based on flight schedules
