Aer Lingus has confirmed it will cut three transatlantic routes from Dublin (DUB) to Denver (DEN), Las Vegas (LAS), and Minneapolis (MSP), with Seattle (SEA) becoming seasonal. The airline is also cutting up to 500 jobs from its 6,000-employee workforce, reducing flight capacity by roughly 6%. The cuts are driven by parent company IAG's mandatory medium-term operating margin target of 12-15%. Despite reporting €282 million in profit in 2025 (an 11.1% margin), Aer Lingus fell short of the group's benchmark. As of summer 2027, IAG will reduce the use of two Airbus A330 and four Airbus A320 aircraft. This is a concrete operational change affecting the Aer Lingus network and its AerClub loyalty program members
