What happened
Aegean Miles+Bonus will change Air China earning on October 12, 2026, cutting class P from 200% first-class credit to 25% discounted economy. The new chart replaces rates in place since August 2016.
Full first class F stays at 200% with a 1,200-mile minimum. Discounted first A becomes its own 150% category with a 1,000-mile minimum, down from 1,200. Business class is split into four earning levels instead of three. Class R is separated from Z and drops from 125% to 110%.
LoyaltyLobby says Aegean had been treating P as first class even though it is deep-discount economy. Paid Air China tickets credited to Miles+Bonus will return far fewer miles in P and a bit less in some discounted first and business classes.
After October 12, 2026, confirm the Air China booking class before crediting to Miles+Bonus, since P no longer pays first-class miles.
