What happened
The State Department announced that due to "overwhelming demand," an additional 250,000 limited-edition "Patriotic Passports" featuring President Trump will be available to the public nationwide. Initially released exclusively at the Washington Passport Agency to commemorate the 250th anniversary of US independence, the passports now require appointments at passport agencies and centers across the country. The passport features a Trump portrait, the Declaration of Independence text, a Freedom 250 gold flag, and an image of the Founding Fathers. Applying is optional for most applicants, though initial rollout at Washington had no alternative option
